Surgical Case - Resection of Mediastinal and Thoracic Diaphragmatic Endometriosis

This case involves a 41 year old woman who had stage IV endometriosis in the pelvis, previously treated by Dr Fogelson. This video demonstrates a second surgery to remove severe full thickness endometriosis of the diaphragm. This case is unusual in that it involves disease of the mediastinal portion of the diaphragm as well as the more typical thoracic part of the diaphragm. Video includes narration with discussion of the disease state as well as surgical didactics for other viewing surgeons.
